We’re delighted to share news that Alex Clarke, 3rd year SoCoBio DTP student from the University of Southampton, won the Best Presentation Prize at the British Society for Nanomedicine Annual Meeting held in Belfast, 2-3 September 2025.

Her talk, titled “Killing Intracellular Pathogens with Antibiotic Nanocapsules”, received excellent feedback, with attendees praising her presentation skills. There was particular interest in the potential applications of her research in tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
