This year’s event is being hosted at the University of Southampton on Monday 4th April and Tuesday 5th April 2022. The two-day research conference provides all SoCoBio students with an opportunity to communicate their science, exchange research ideas, share their training experience, tour Southampton’s research facilities and socialise at the conference dinner.
The conference schedule includes oral presentations by Yr 2 students and poster sessions for both Yr1 and Yr2 students. Our guest speakers are Professor Kate Ellacott, an Associate Professor of Biomedical Neuroscience at the University of Exeter, Professor Guy Poppy a Professor of Ecology and directs Interdisciplinary Research as the Associate Vice President at the University of Southampton, and Professor Alison Woollard an Associate Professor in the Biochemistry Department at Oxford University where she leads a research team working on the genetics of the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans.
